Sukhpal Singh has 15 years of experience in audit, investigations, domestic and foreign-based listings, and advisory work. He gained his corporate experience as the Group Accountant of a public company listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) and also had a one-year stint with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants as a Senior Manager in the Professional Practices and Technical Department.
He has managed a wide range of clients, from small local entrepreneurs to large multinational companies, including those listed on Bursa Securities. The industries he has worked with include manufacturing, trading, plantation, oil & gas, aquaculture, construction, property development, and information technology.
He has also undertaken due diligence reviews, special investigations, government agency privatisation exercises, Initial Public Offering (“IPO”) exercises, and corporate exercises varying from acquisitions, domestic and foreign-based IPOs, to backdoor listings or reverse takeovers. He was involved in the review of profit and cash flow forecasts and the preparation of Accountant’s Reports.
